DOULA SERVICES

KRISTY MIA

Celeste Chamberlain

“Kristy offered her expertise and guidance in labor and childbirth. Sitting us down and listening to all of our concerns and fears. She helped guide us in creating a birth plan and how we envision our day. She walked us through different laboring positions, decision making and even massage techniques my fiancé could help with.”

My Doula Services Include:

  • 1-hour prenatal consultation to meet and ensure we are a good fit and ready for contract services.

  • 2 3-hour prenatal sessions with full child-birth preparation for labor and delivery for mama and partner (and baby's siblings and pets if that applies).

  • 1-2 Zoom or Facetime sessions 1.5 hours to prepare for baby caretaking and bonding and answer any concerns or questions you have with pregnancy and preparing for your labor and delivery of your sweet baby.

  • Unlimited calls, emails/texts during office hours from the start of the contract, and for a 24-hour on-call from 38 weeks to the day after the birth.

  • My continual support, guidance, and attendance throughout labor until two hours after birth (depending on your needs it may be more).

  • 24-hour on-call after birth with one optional visit in the hospital or at home the day after your baby is born.

  • A 3-hour visit postpartum at your home upon your request (typically within the first 5 days after birth, but no longer than 3 days after mother's milk has come in) that includes (all are optional) moxibustion/mothering roasting treatment, dry brushing, Gua Sha treatment, body oiling treatment, a massage tailored for your postpartum healing, infrared light therapy, breastfeeding support, newborn care, a brief lesson in baby massage techniques and a health assessment of mama and baby.

"It was wonderful to have another woman with so much experience supporting me through all the emotions that I was feeling! It was invaluable that she provided help for my other children to transition into their new roles with the new baby. I found that being able to talk out my feelings with a nurturing expert was the most helpful for me!"
